The history and families of the village of
Turvey in Bedfordshire, England.
There is a lot of information on these pages -
please wander around or check the Site Map for details!.
This site is dedicated to the memory of my dear grandfather, Albert Richardson, who showed me so much of the beauty of the village and who always had time to listen to a little chatterbox.
Please note that whilst I have tried very hard to offer
valuable information, I can not guarantee the accuracy of
the contents of these pages. There may be typing or
other such errors. I have quoted original sources where
possible and recommend that these are consulted by
researchers. If you spot any errors please let me know
and I will correct them and wear a Dunce's hat for a day!
IMPORTANT NOTICES
I have worked very hard to add all the content to this site. Please do not copy chunks to put on your site or to publish in print. If you want to use something, please ask me first (I am very friendly!).
Due to the nature of this web site it contains lots
of graphics, some are quite large. Please be patient, there should always be text on screen to keep you busy!

Virtual Turvey Church!
I have recently been attempting to recreate the beautiful Parish Church in the virtual world of Second Life. This popular 'graphical chatroom' has been featured a lot in the media in recent months.
If anyone is a 'resident of Second Life and fancies seeing how work is progressing, please pop along to my island - Tin Teddy - you can't miss the church, it is rather big, hehe. http://www.secondlife.com
Pictures to come :-)
