My father was born in Turvey and I have a number of relatives still living there. I have traced my family back within Turvey to the late 1600s. I was also surprised to find that my mother has Turvey heritage and her family has also been traced back to a similar date. I have accumulated a lot of research on this lovely village and wanted to share this with other genealogists. I have fond memories of a happy childhood in Turvey and still enjoy visiting there. It is a pretty village and has much to offer the visitor - the church alone is well worth a visit click here to see why!
