Today the Abbey is also the home of The Turvey Institute.  The nuns produce beautiful embroideries and garments with a religious theme.  They have also published a number of books of devotional writing.
The Abbey grounds are 100 acres of woodland, much of which is crossed by public footpaths.
In 1980 Dom Edmund Jones founded the Monastry of Christ our Saviour within the Abbey.
